Introducing our hood louver kits for the Jeep CJ! Hood louvers are a great way to remove heat from your engine compartment, as well as add a cool look to your vehicle's aesthetics.

They work at both low speed by allowing radiant heat to escape the engine compartment, and at high speed they increase cooling efficiency by removing the high pressure zone that builds up within the engine compartment. If you have been overheating on the trail, or in the mountains, or in the desert, and your cooling system is working normally?

Have you swapped to a larger engine, and can't get enough heat out of the engine bay? You need to install this panel. Not only that, it looks great! This panel was designed using advanced CAD software to specifically fit the Jeep CJ. These are 100% made and designed in the USA. First we start with USA sourced 0.063 aluminum sheet, then we use a precision CNC laser to cut the panels out. After machine sanding them for proper paint or powdercoat adhesion, we punch the louvers using an old school hot rod style louver punch. High quality 1/4 zinc plated hardware is included, as are nylon washers to protect the surface finish! Detailed instructions are also included. They are easy to install, but please note: In order for the louver panels to be functional, you will have to remove a corresponding section of sheet metal from your hood.

The underhood support structure remains intact with our design. Every engine, every configuration, from CJ-5 to CJ-7, as well as the CJ-8 Scrambler! This listing is for semi black powdercoat! They are machine sanded with 100 grit.
