1968 (M8) Swiss Factory BULOVA Accutron 214 Stainless Steel ASTRONAUT Mens Watch. Not the usual Frankensteined Parts Bin Mashup. My pictures don't nearly do it justice. The multiple types of harsh work lighting that I work under aren't conducive. Number Matching and correct details!

Correct M8 214H (Astronaut specific version) Pillar Plate date. The case, bezel, hands, and case back are in incredible/original condition. Matching Lume on the bezel, hands, and Tuning Fork emblem on the dial.

The first successful, and BEST, Electronic Timepiece! The only watch that MUST be in every Watch Lovers collection! The bezel assembly was completely disassembled, greased/oiled and adjusted. All original and matching Crispy!

Luminous on the hands and dial. Check out that gorgeous and correct hand set that is specific to these Swiss Factory Astronauts. The movement was completely disassembled and deep cleaned.

All friction points lubricated and the setting crown mechanism has been greased. Incredible condition of the hands, dial, bezel, bracelet, and case... Very slight Battle Scar/History/Character signs. Phased to run on the modern/readily available Accucell 1.35v battery... No need for diodes or any other tricks.

No reason to reduce the value of these classics by altering the electronics/adding diodes, etc. This tests and times beautifully. No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty...

Adding stress and trapping the windings and limiting expansion/contraction movement? 70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)...

When you can have the genuine article. What value does that have now... Much less in the future? It'll be worth nothing more than what it is...

Invest in a Classic that you can be proud of... And that will retain value. I use the Mobius products that were specified by Bulova and I install new gaskets. I work on these the Old School way. And I see no reason to alter these...

It only decreases their value. The goal is to get these right.. So that we can enjoy and preserve these Historic works of Horology/Engineering/Art.
